Each year on the octave (eighth) day of Easter, we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday! Each year at Easter, we are especially reminded of God’s infinite mercy for us, made known most acutely in the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Of course, we should marvel and immerse ourselves in God’s mercy every day, but this Feast is a particularly appropriate time to remember the great love of the Father.
Learn about what exactly Divine Mercy is, how the devotion started, and how to participate in it with this special one-night event. This event is put on by our parish’s Divine Mercy Cenacle, a group of people devoted to praying, studying, and living the Divine Mercy devotion. There will an opportunity to ask questions, get resources, and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet as a community! Refreshments will be served.
