All Parish Event – Divine Mercy Sunday

Event details

  • Sunday | April 23, 2017
  • 3:30 pm

Join us for an celebration of Divine Mercy on the Sunday after Easter! On the Second Sunday of Easter, the Church celebrates the great love and mercy that Jesus won for all on the Cross. While Jesus’ mercy has always been celebrated, great figures like St. Faustina, St. John Paul II, and Pope Francis have given rise in recent times to a new-found understanding and appreciation of this great gift. During this afternoon event, people of all ages are invited to celebrate Jesus’ Divine Mercy while they:

  • Learn about the image of Divine Mercy – both its meaning and history
  • Learn how to live Divine Mercy and pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy (bring your Rosary)
  • Make a craft to help remember Jesus’ love for us (for the kids!)
  • Meet and talk to fellow parishioners over a Divine Mercy Sundae

Please note that this event also serves as Religious Education for the week of April 23 (grades K-8) for parents and students. However, ALL are welcome!

Childcare is available for those ages 4 and under (RSVP to Laura Zakrzewski appreciated!).

Please contact Laurie Sabbarese or Doug Ulaszek with questions!
