Divine Mercy Novena

Divine Mercy 2023

The Divine Mercy Novena starts right after the Good Friday service, April 7.

Our Lord appeared to St. Faustina and told her to share the good news about God’s unfathomable mercy towards sinners. He told her to share the image and prayers in devotion to the Divine Mercy. There are many promises associated with devotion to Divine Mercy. Pamphlets and pictures are available on the table in the narthex. We will try to pray the Chaplet 15 minutes before weekend Masses and immediately after weekday Masses.

Saint Christopher Parish will again be celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday with a special afternoon devotion. Join us Sunday afternoon, April 16.  The schedule is as follows:

  • 2:30pm Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Blessing of the Divine Mercy Image
  • 2:40pm Short talk on the devotion and its importance
  • 2:50pm Confessions begin
  • 3:00pm Divine Mercy Chaplet sung
  • 3:25pm Benediction and conclusion
