Dear Parishioners,
I first of all want to thank all of you for your great sense of solidarity and sacrifice. That
has allowed me to continue to livestream our Masses from our Church and Sanctuary at the
normal times. I believe that this has been comforting for many. I also want to thank all of those who have made special efforts to mail in your tithing or drop it by the office and also those who have signed up for EFT and those who have made donations on line. With that we are scraping by, but we are still bringing in much less than normal. So please continue your generosity with God and keep giving during these difficult times.
The Lord is arisen—ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA!!! We need to rejoice in the Resurrection,
and thank the Lord that the vast majority of us have not contracted the Covid-19 virus. The
President is making plans to start re-opening parts of the country on May 1st. It seems we
should be eligible for that and so there is light at the end of the tunnel. We will need to maintain our great sense of charity, patience and solidarity as we seek to get things up and running again, and we’ll probably have to continue using certain precautions for some time into the future. For now, we continue to pray and obey our civil authorities and maintain the distancing they ask of us so that the numbers of newly infected continue to fall. I wish you, each and every one, a Most Joy Filled and Happy Easter. God Bless you!
