January 2020 Emmaus Day Recap

We had a great January Emmaus Day!  Our topic was the middle part of the Creed:

“He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty, from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.”

Two of our parishioners spoke to the adults about the topic of remembering our own limited time on this earth and what happens when we come before God.  Tim Cavanaugh taught about our own individual judgement as well as the final judgement of all.  Nick Haun spoke about his experience as a doctor of seeing people prepare for death.  Both of them are good reads!  Enjoy!
