The St. Christopher Parish would like to welcome the following couples and individuals into the parish (effective March 2016).

Brad and Stacy Alexejun met in the Green Bay area and recently moved to Verona. They both work in Madison, Stacy as an attorney at Quarles and Brady LLP and Brad as a commercial account manager at Madison Gas and Electric. Stacy likes to read and write and Brad is a sports fan and like to play golf. There is a little Packers/Bears rivalry in their household, but they both cheer on the Badgers and Brewers. Most importantly, baby Lucy recently made them a family of three! Congratulations to Brad and Stacy.

Andrew and Vicky Assarattanakul have a baby girl, Terra, who is 9 months old. Andrew has always lived in the Verona area, but Vicky grew up in Alabama and has also lived in Milwaukee. Andrew is a web developer at Bendyworks. Vicky previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry, but currently stays at home with Terra. They are both involved in the International Costumer’s Guild. Andrew assists with their website and Vicky is the newsletter editor for their bi-monthly publication.

Casey and Cristin Hopp are originally from Stevens Point, WI. Casey is a teacher at Glen Stephens Elementary and Cristin is a manager at Huron Consulting Group. They have two children, 3 year old Ryan and 10 month old Cayla. Casey and Cristin enjoy running, hiking, camping and sports.

Julia Newkirk moved from Richland Center to the Verona area in November. The move brought her closer to most of her 7 adult children. She likes playing cards and singing and is looking forward to meeting more people in her new parish.

Mark and Joan Nowak moved here from Franklin, a city in southern Milwaukee County, about a year ago. Until their recent move, both had lived their entire life in Milwaukee County. They have two adult children, Dan, who lives in West Allis, and Lisa, who lives in Racine. Mark works at a bank in New Glarus and Joan does contract work with the UW Foundation. Mark is an avid bicyclist and Joan enjoys walking. They both enjoy trying out the many restaurants the Madison area has to offer.

Thomas Saxton is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He went to school at Northwestern and then moved to the Verona area to work as a software developer at Epic.
